Electrical engineering services
Six areas of work, from the first calculation sheet to the installation in service. This page helps you see where to start.
BASHATEC designs and builds low-voltage electrical installations for homes, condominiums and commercial spaces. The services often overlap: an EV charger may call for changes to the switchboard, a refurbishment may call for a design, an audit may end in home automation. If you are not sure where your case fits, describe it when you first get in touch and we will tell you which route makes sense.

Electrical design
Low-voltage design for new builds and refurbishments: calculation, sizing and drawings ready to build from.
For anyone building, refurbishing or changing the power of an installation who needs it calculated and drawn before work starts. It is also the starting point when Portuguese law requires a design (projeto elétrico).

Installations and switchboards
Residential electrical installations, lighting and switchboards, built with Schneider Electric and Hager equipment.
For anyone who needs the work done: a new installation, a rewire of an existing one, a replacement or reorganised switchboard, a move to three-phase.

Wallboxes and dedicated sockets, with the installation sized for the power available.
For anyone who will charge a car at home or in the garage of an apartment building and wants to know whether a reinforced socket is enough or a wallbox is justified, and at what power.

For anyone who wants to control lighting and blinds and measure consumption in a house that is already built, without redoing the wiring.

For anyone thinking about solar panels who wants sizing and an opinion that do not depend on whoever sells them. We do not install panels.

Energy audits, electrical measurements and efficiency measures.
For anyone who wants to know where and when electricity is used, and whether the contracted power (potência contratada) is right. This is not the energy certificate.

Services are delivered by technicians accredited by DGEG, Portugal's Directorate-General for Energy and Geology, for the design, execution and operation of electrical installations.
